大変な時節に至り、皆様はいかがお過ごしでしょうか。
5月に予定していた日本語ファイヤサイドについてよくよく検討した結果、今回は開催しないことに決定しました。現状の健康問題への懸念と教会本部からの指示に従う為、8月までファイアサイドを延期致します。
After much thought and discussion, it has been decided that we will not be able to meet in May for our normal Japanese Fireside meeting. Given the current health situation and wanting to follow the instructions from Salt Lake, we will not meet again as a group until the August Fireside meeting.
今回はグループとして集まることができないため、回復に焦点を当てた簡単なビデオを作成したいと思います。その中には回復に関する教会の短いビデオを幾つか入れる予定です。
For this quarter, since we cannot meet as a group, it has been suggested that we make a short video focusing on the Restoration. We will include one or two short Church videos on the Restoration.
また、回復について皆様からの短い証も含めたいと考えております。またコロナ問題から学んだ証でも結構です。是非沢山の方のご協力をお願い致します。
We would also like to include a short testimony about the Restoration from anyone who would like to participate. Another idea for a testimony is what you have learned from the COVID-19 problem.We will include as many as we can in the video.
証をしてくださる方は、下記のガイドラインを参考にしてください。
If you would like to add your testimony, here are some guidelines.
証は短くまとめて2分程度にしてください
Please keep it short, no more than 2 minutes each
証はビデオに記録してください
Please record a video of you sharing your testimony
ビデオは「縦向き」モードではなく「横向き」モードで録画してください
Please record the video in “landscape” mode, not “portrait” mode
証は日本語または英語でしてください
Your testimony can be recorded in either Japanese or English
証のビデオをEメールで「WilliamJohnHiatt@gmail.com」宛てに送ってください
Please email your testimony video to me at WilliamJohnHiatt@gmail.com
期限は5月17日（日）とします

これは皆様と福音の回復について証を分かち合う素晴しい機会となるでしょう。是非、多くの方々のご参加をお待ちしております。
We think this will be a wonderful opportunity for everyone to share a testimony with others about the Restoration of the gospel. Please join with us in sharing a testimony of the Restoration.
中には一人でビデオを撮るなんて恥ずかしいと遠慮なさる方もいらっしゃることでしょう。もしそうでしたら、是非、伴侶やご家族と一緒に参加してその中で自分自身の証を述べて下さい。大切なのはビデオの中で自分自身の簡単な証を述べることです。それは他の人を強め信仰が増すことを助けるでしょう。どうぞ参加をお願い致します。
We know that some of you may be shy or hesitant to be in a video. If so, maybe you could record the video together with your spouse or with your family, with each person sharing their own testimony. The important thing to remember is that your video, with your own simple testimony, will help to strengthen others and increase their faith. So please participate with us.
