May 5, 2019 また、それらの指針の上には新しい言葉が記されて、それは読みやすく、主の道についてわたしたちに理解を与えてくれるものであった。そしてその言葉は、わたしたちが寄せる信仰と熱意に応じて、時々書き替えられた。このようにして、主は小さな手段によって大いなることを成し遂げることが分かるのである。ニーファイ第１書１６：２９ And there was also written upon them a new writing, which was plain to be read, which did give us understanding concerning the ways of the Lord; and it was written and changed from time to time, according to the faith and diligence which we gave unto it.  And thus we see that by small means the Lord can bring about great things. 1 Nephi 16:29 In this short scripture, Nephi tells us how the Liahona worked.  He says that there were things written on the Liahona.
