Yea, and as often as my people repent will I forgive them their trespasses against me. And ye shall also forgive one another your trespasses; for verily I say unto you, he that forgiveth not his neighbor’s trespasses when he says that he repents, the same hath brought himself under condemnation. Mosiah 26:30-31
In this scripture, the Lord talks with Alma and teaches him about repentance.
この聖句では主がアルマに語られ、悔い改めについて教えられました。
When we sincerely repent, the Lord promises us that he will forgive us. The Lord says, “as often as my people repent will I forgive them.”
私たちが心から悔い改めるとき主は私たちを赦してくださると約束してくださいました。主は「民が悔い改める度に、わたしに対する彼らの過ちを赦そう」と言われました。
This is a great blessing for us. We all commit sin. We all make mistakes. We all need to repent.
これは私たちにとって偉大な祝福です。私たちはみな罪を犯しますし間違いも犯します。私たちはみな悔い改める必要があります。
If we repent of our mistakes, we can be forgiven. It is a great blessing to receive forgiveness for our sins.
もし私たちが間違いを悔い改めるならば赦されるのです。私たちが罪の赦しを受けれるというのは偉大な祝福です。
The Lord loves each one of us very much. He wants us to be happy. He wants us to repent.
主は私たち一人ひとりをとても愛しておられます。私たちに幸せになって欲しい、（そのために）悔い改めて欲しいと望んでおられます。
But we have a responsibility to forgive others, just like the Lord forgives us.
しかし主が私たちを赦してくださるように、私たちも他の人を赦す責任があります。
No one in this life is perfect. The only perfect person was our Savior, Jesus Christ. We will all make mistakes.
この世で誰一人として完全な人はいません。唯一完全なお方は救い主イエスキリストだけでした。私たちはみな間違いを犯すのです。
Other people will also make mistakes. Our Church friends will make mistakes. Our neighbors will make mistakes. Our family members will make mistakes. We will make mistakes.
他の誰もが間違いを犯します。教会の友達も間違いを犯します。隣人も家族も間違いを犯します。私たちは（みな）間違いを犯します。
Is someone has made a mistake, and then tells us they are sorry, we are told that we must forgive them. We need to follow the pattern that our Savior taught us. We need to follow his example. We need to do the things that he would do.
だれかが間違いを犯し、私たちに謝るとき彼らを赦すように教えられました。私たちは救い主が教えられた模範に従う必要があります。私たちは救い主がされるように行動する必要があります。
If someone has offended us, then tells us they are sorry, it is our duty to forgive them. If we do not forgive others for their mistakes, we cannot expect the Lord to forgive us for our mistakes.
もし誰かが私たちを傷つけ、謝るならその人を赦す義務があります。もし私たちが他の人の間違いを赦さなければ主が私たちの間違いを赦してくださるとはとても期待できません。
In this scripture, it says that if we do not forgive others when they say they have repented, we “bring ourselves under condemnation.”
この聖句では他の人が悔い改めたと言っているのにその人を赦さなければ「自分自身に罪の宣告を招く」と言っています。
We all seek forgiveness for our mistakes every day. This week, let us try harder to be like the Savior. Let us work hard to forgive others when they make mistakes. Let us remember that we, too, need the Lord to forgive us when we make mistakes.
私たちは日々間違いを犯し、その赦しを求めています。今週も救い主のようであれるよう頑張りましょう。だれか他の人が間違いを犯したとき赦してあげれるよう一生懸命努力しましょう。私たちも間違いを犯すとき主に赦していただく必要があることを覚えておきましょう。
I know that if we do this, we will be forgiven. I know that if we do this, we will be blessed. I know that if we do this, we will be able to bless the lives of others. I know that if we do this, we will be able to strengthen the faith of our friends.
私たちがそうするとき赦されることを知っています。私たちがそうするとき祝福されると知っています。またそうするとき他の人の人生を祝福することが出来き、私たちの友達の信仰をも強められると知っています。
