One of our basic beliefs is that we are led by Prophets and Apostles. We believe that they have been called of God to lead us. We believe that they teach us the things that Jesus Christ wants us to know.
私たちの基本的な信条の一つは、私たちは預言者と使徒によって導かれているということです。彼らが私たちを導くために神に召されていることを私たちは信じています。イエス・キリストが私たちに知って欲しい事がらを彼らが私たちに教えてくれると信じています。
Next weekend, we will again have the blessing of being able to hear important messages from our Prophet, from the Apostles, and from other Priesthood and Auxiliary leaders.
私たちは来週、祝福されて再び私たちの預言者や使徒、ほか神権組織や補助組織の指導者から大切なメッセージを聞くことができます。
Their messages will be inspired by the Holy Ghost. Those who speak to us will have fasted and prayed and pondered to know what the Lord wants them to say. Their messages will be important.
彼らのメッセージは聖霊に導かれたものです。お話をされる人は主が彼らに何を話すよう望んでおられるのか知るために断食し、祈り、熟考しています。彼らのメッセージは大切なものです。
In this scripture from the Doctrine & Covenants, the Lord tells us very clearly that the messages that his servants give us are the same messages that he would give us if he were here.
この教義と聖約の聖句では、もし主がここにおられたら伝えられるのと同じメッセージを彼らも伝えると主は明確に述べておられます。
With the wonderful technology that is available today, it is easy to listen to the General Conference messages. In many areas, the General Conference is available on cable TV on the BYU channel.
今日可能なすばらしい技術のおかげで総大会のメッセージを容易に聞くことができます。多くの地域ではケーブルテレビのBYU チャンネルで視聴できます。
It is also available on the Internet. Go to the Church web page (lds.org), and click on the “Watch General Conference” button.
またインターネットでも視聴できます。教会のウェブサイト「lds.org」に行き「Watch General Conference」をクリックしてください。
If you are listening to General Conference on the Internet, you can also choose which language you want to hear. In the top right corner, there is a button to choose the language.
インターネットで総大会を視聴する場合、聴きたい言語を選択することが出来ます。画面右上に言語の選択ボタンがあります。
When Yumiko and I watch General Conference, I listen to the talks in English and Yumiko listens to the talks in Japanese. This is truly a fulfillment of the prophecy that everyone will be able to hear the gospel in their own language.
私の妻、ゆみこと私が総大会を見る時、私は英語で、妻は日本語でお話を聴きます。これはまさにすべての人が自国語で福音を聴けるようになるという予言の成就です。
The messages that will be given in General Conference will be our guide for the next six months.
総大会で与えられるメッセージはその先六ヶ月間私たちの指針となります。
If you prepare for General Conference by praying for answers to your needs, there will be an answer for you during General Conference. The answer may be in something that is said in one of the talks. The answer may be in a feeling or prompting from the Holy Ghost that comes as you listen to the talks. If you are prepared and listening, the answer will come.
もしあなたが必要としている答えを受けれる様祈り求め、総大会の準備するなら、総大会からその答えを受けるでしょう。お話の中に答えを見つけることが出来るかもしれません。お話を聞くときに聖霊を通して感覚や促しという形で答えを受けるかもしれません。あなたが準備して聴くならば、その答えはやって来ます。
If your situation does not allow you to listen to General Conference as it is broadcast live, you can still listen to all of the talks. All of the talks from all of the sessions will be available for us to listen to even after General Conference is over. It is a great blessing to be able to study and review these great messages.
もしあなたが総大会をリアルタイムで視聴できなくても、すべての話を視聴することが出来ます。すべてのセッション、すべての話は総大会が終了した後でも視聴可能です。それらの素晴らしいメッセージを復習し、学ぶことが出来るのは素晴らしい祝福です。
