そしてかれは、ある人を使徒とし、ある人を預言者とし、ある人を伝道者とし、ある人を牧師、教師として、お立てになった。それは、聖徒たちをととのえて奉仕のわざをさせ、キリストのからだたてさせ、エペソ人の手紙４：１１－１２
And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ: Ephesians 4:11-12
When Jesus Christ organized his Church during his mortal ministry, he called men to be apostles. He called men to be evangelists (patriarchs). He called men to be pastors (bishops). He called men to be teachers.
イエス・キリストがこの地上で教会を組織されたとき、使徒たちを召されました。伝道者（祝福師）を召され、牧師（ビショップ）、教師を召されました。
In these last days, through the Prophet Joseph Smith, the Lord has again organized his Church. Today, we have apostles and prophets. We have patriarchs. We have bishops and teachers.
この末日において預言者ジョセフ・スミスを通して主は再び主の教会を組織されました。今日、私たちには使徒や預言者がいます。祝福師がいますしビショップや教師も私たちにはいます。
We believe that the men who serve today as Apostles are called of God to be prophets, seers, and revelators. We believe that they receive revelation from God for our benefit. We believe that they will teach us correct principles.
今日使徒として奉仕するものは神に召され、預言者，聖賢者，啓示者となることを私たちは信じています。私たちは彼らが神より私たちの益となる啓示を受けると信じています。私たちは正しい原則を私たちに教えてくれると信じています。
Many people throughout the whole world are searching for truth. Many people want to know what is right. Many people want to know about Jesus Christ.
世界中の多くの人が真理を探し求めています。多くの人が何が正しいのか知りたいと思っています。多くの人がイエス・キリストについて知りたいと思っています。
They are searching for answers to their questions. They want apostles and prophets to teach them. They want to know the truth. But they do not know how to find answers.
彼らはそれらの疑問の答えを探しています。彼らに教えてくれる使徒や預言者を求めています。彼らは真理を知りたいと願っています。けれどもどうして答えを得られるのか知りません。
We know.
私たちは知っています。
Do we really appreciate the great blessing that is ours? Do we really appreciate the incredible opportunity we have to be taught by Apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ? Do we really appreciate the gift we have been given?
私たちにはその素晴らしい祝福があることを本当に感謝していますか？主イエス・キリストの使徒から教えを受けるという信じられないような機会に本当に感謝していますか？受けている贈り物に感謝していますか？
Next weekend is General Conference.
来週末は総大会です。
We will be taught by Apostles and Prophets of God. We will be taught by members of the Seventy and by our auxiliary leaders. We will be taught true doctrine.
私たちは神の使徒や預言者から教えを受けます。七十人のメンバーや補助組織の指導者から教えを受けます。私たちは真の教義を教えてもらえるのです。
General Conference is available on the BYU channel, on the Internet (in English or in Japanese), and at most Stake Centers.
総大会はBYU チャンネルやインターネット（英語や日本語）、そしてほとんどのステーキセンターで視聴することが可能です。
If we really believe that the Lord has called Apostles and Prophets to teach us, we will want to participate in General Conference. We will want to hear the messages that they present to us. We will want to find answers to our questions.
私たちを教えるために本当に主が使徒や預言者を召されたと信じるなら、総大会に参加したいと望むでしょう。彼らが伝えるメッセージを聞きたいと望み、私たちの抱える疑問の答えを見つけたいと望むでしょう。
Being able to watch General Conference is a wonderful blessing. For a few short hours, we have the opportunity to hear Apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ speak to us.
総大会を視聴できることは素晴らしい祝福です。短い時間ですが私たちはイエス・キリストの使徒が私たちに話してくださる勧告を聞ける機会があるのです。
Please do not miss out on this great blessing. Do everything that you can to arrange your schedule so you can participate in the Conference. If you are unable to watch the Conference live, you can still watch every session of Conference on the Internet at any time.
この素晴らしい祝福を逃さないようにしてください。大会に参加できるようあなたの予定を最善を尽くして調整してください。大会を中継で視聴出来なければインターネットですべてのセッションをいつでも視聴することができます。
It is a great blessing to have living Apostles and Prophets speak to us today.
今日私たちに話してくれる生ける使徒や預言者がいることは素晴らしい祝福です。
