この御使いは女たちにむかって言った、「恐れることはない。あなたがたが十字架におかかりになったイエスを捜していることは、わたしにわかっているが、もうここにはおられない。かねて言われたとおりに、よみがえられたのである。さあ、イエスが納められていた場所をごらんなさい。そして、急いで行って弟子たちにこう伝えなさい、『イエスは死人の中からよみがえられた。見よ、あなたがたより先にガリラヤへ行かれる。そこでお会いできるであろう』。あなたがたに、これだけ言っておく」。マタイ２８：５－７
And the angels answered and said unto the women, Fear ye not: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, and see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and behold, he goeth before you into Gallilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you. Matthew 28:5-7
ここにはおられない。よみがえられたのである。
He is not here, but is risen!
これは、おそらく聖書の中で最も喜ばしい言葉でしょう。主の体に油を注ぎに来た忠実な姉妹に、天の使いが語ったこの素晴らしいメッセージは、偉大な贖罪の成就を告げたのです。
This is perhaps the most joyous sentence in the scriptures. Spoken by heavenly messengers to those faithful sisters who had come to anoint the body of the Lord, this wonderful message announced the completion of the great Atonement.
ここにはおられない。よみがえられたのである。
He is not here, but is risen!
これ以上の喜び、これ以上の幸せ、これ以上の希望があるでしょうか。父から命じられたことをすべてやり遂げ、復活した主は、私たち一人一人が天の両親と暮らすために帰る道を開いてくださったのです。
What sentence could contain more joy, more happiness, more hope? Having completed all that the Father had commanded him, the resurrected Lord opened the way for each of us to return to live with our Heavenly parents.
ここにはおられない。よみがえられたのである。
He is not here, but is risen!
この短い言葉によって、天使たちは、死はもはや力を持たないことを世界に告げました。人間の最大の恐怖である死は、救い主の力に屈したのです。救い主が死に打ち勝ったので、もはや死を恐れる必要はないのです。死は今や、永遠への道に過ぎないのです。
With this short statement, the angels announced to the world that death was no longer powerful. Death, that greatest of all fears of mankind, had yielded to the power of the Savior. No longer did we need to fear death, for our Savior had overcome death. Death now was simply a passageway into eternity.

イエス・キリストの偉大な贖罪によって、サタンが人の魂を支配していた鎖は解かれました。神の娘と息子は皆、心からの悔い改めによって神のもとに戻る道が開かれたのです。自分の罪や過ちを赦すことができるようになったのです。私たちは、もはや闇の鎖につながれているわけではありません。救い主は、私たち一人一人が再び清くなることを可能にしてくださったのです。
With the great Atonement of Jesus Christ, the hold that Satan had over the souls of men was broken. The way was now open for every daughter and son of God to return to him, through sincere repentance. It was now possible to receive forgiveness of our own sins and errors. We were no longer doomed to chains of darkness. The Savior had made it possible for each of us to become clean again.

He is not here, but is risen!
これ以上素晴らしいメッセージがあるでしょうか。私たちの主であり救い主であるイエス・キリストは、天父の子どもたち一人一人の罪のために、全ての罪の代価を支払ってくださったのです。なんと素晴らしい希望のメッセージでしょう。
What greater message can there be? Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ paid the full penalty for the sins of every one of Heavenly Father’s children. What a great message of hope.
さて、私たちの義務や責任は何でしょうか。救い主への大きな愛と感謝をどのように示せばいいのでしょうか。私たちにできることは何でしょうか？
Now, what is our duty and responsibility? How do we show our great love and gratitude to our Savior? What can we do?
まず第一に、私たちは神の戒めをすべて守るために最善を尽くすことができます。私たちは自分の罪を悔い改めることができます。第二に、私たちはこの偉大な希望のメッセージを他の人々と分かち合うことができます。
First of all, we can do our very best to keep all of his commandments. We can repent of our sins. Secondly, we can share this great message of hope with others.
何百万人もの天父の子供たちが、贖罪の重要性を理解せず、まだ暗闇の中にいます。何百万人もの人々が、イエス・キリストについてほとんど知らないのです。私たちには、贖罪の希望と喜びを彼らと分かち合う神聖な義務があるのです。
Millions of Heavenly Father’s children are still in darkness, not understanding the importance of the Atonement. Millions of others know very little of Jesus Christ. We have a sacred duty to share the hope and joy of the Atonement with them.
この地球上の全人類の歴史において、救い主イエス・キリストの贖罪ほど偉大で重要な出来事はありません。
There is no greater or more important event in the entire history of mankind on this earth than the Atonement of our Savior Jesus Christ.
新しい週が始まります。私たちがサタンの鎖から贖われるために支払われた代価を思い起こしてみましょう。主が私たち一人一人のために捧げられた偉大な犠牲を忘れないようにしましょう。悔い改め、戒めを守るために最善を尽くしましょう。そして、私たちの大きな喜びと希望を他の人々と分かち合い、彼らも喜べるようにしましょう。
As we go through this next week, let’s remember the price that was paid for our redemption from the chains of Satan. Let’s remember the great sacrifice the Lord made for each of us. Let’s do our best to repent and to keep the commandments. Let’s share our great joy and hope with others, so that them may rejoice too.
