「見よ、人の不死不滅と永遠の命をもたらすこと、これがわたしの業であり、わたしの栄光である。」モーセ１：３９
This scripture teaches us about the great love God has for all his children. His work and his glory is to save all his children, not just some of them. He does not put any limitation on who can be saved. Every one of us has the same opportunity and the same potential blessings.
Sometimes, we don’t share the Gospel with others because we decide they are “bad” people. Sometimes, we even give up on ourselves, because we feel we have done too many bad things.
But that is not how God sees us. He loves each one of us and wants to do everything he can to have us come back and live with him. He has given us his Gospel, the scriptures, the Holy Ghost, and inspired priesthood auxiliary leaders, all to guide us back to him. He knows we will make many mistakes, so he gave us his Son, our Savior Jesus Christ, who atoned for all our sins.
All we have to do is to repent, to be obedient, to try to do better. If we do, we will receive all the blessings that God has in store for us. We will be able to live with him again.
May we make today a new start, a new beginning. May we go forward with greater faith. Let’s make this week a great week!
