今年の旧約聖書の学習では、旧約聖書の預言者から救い主の来臨について多くの聖句を学びました。これらの聖句はすべて、イエス・キリストの福音が永遠であることを証しています。それは単に、救い主の誕生から始まったものではありません。

During our study of the Old Testament during this year, we have read many scriptures from Old Testament prophets about the coming of the Savior.  All of these scriptures testify that the gospel of Jesus Christ is eternal.  It is not something new that began with the birth of the Savior.  

福音はエデンの園で、私たちの最初の両親に与えられました。それ以来、ずっと地上に存在しています。旧約聖書は、他の標準聖典と同様に、救い主イエス・キリストについて証しています。今年学んだイエス・キリストについて証している旧約聖書の聖句をいくつか復習しましょう。

The gospel was given to our first parents, in the Garden of Eden, and has been on the earth ever since.  The Old Testament, just as with the other Standard Works, testifies of our Savior Jesus Christ.  Let’s review some of the Old Testament scriptures that we have studied this year that testify of Jesus Christ.

モーセ 5:6-8

多くの日の後、主の天使がアダムに現われて言った。『あなたはなぜ主に犠牲をささげるのか。』そこで，アダムは彼に答えた。『わたしには分りません。ただ、主がわたしに命じられたのです。』すると、天使は語って言った。『これは、御父の、恵みと真理に満ちている独り子の犠牲のひながたである。したがって、あなたが行なうすべてのことを御子の御名によって行ないなさい。また、悔い改めて、いつまでも御子の御名によって神に呼び求めなさい。

Moses 5:6-8

And after many days, an angel of the Lord appeared unto Adam, saying: Why doest thou offer sacrifices unto the Lord?  And Adam said unto him: I know not, save the Lord commanded me.  And the angel spake, saying: This thing is a similitude of the sacrifice of the Only Begotten of the Father, which is full of grace and truth.  Wherefore, thou shalt do all that thou doest in the name of the Son, and thou shalt call upon God in the name of the Son forevermore.

Moses 8:23-24

And it came to pass that Noah continued his preaching unto the people, saying: Hearken, and give heed to my words; Believe and repent of your sins and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, even as our fathers, and ye shall receive the Holy Ghost, that ye may have all things made manifest; and if ye do not this, the floods will come in upon you; nevertheless they hearkened not.

Isaiah 9:6

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

ミカ 5:2

Micah 5:2

But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be the ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

ゼカリヤ 9:9

シオンの娘よ、大いに喜べ、エルサレムの娘よ、呼ばわれ。見よ、あなたの王はあなたの所に来る。彼は義なる者であって勝利を得、柔和であって、ろばに乗る。すなわち、ろばの子である子馬に乗る。

Zechariah 9:9

Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, the King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.

これらは、イエス・キリストについて教えている旧約聖書の多くの聖句のほんの一部です。旧約聖書の預言者が書いた原本があれば、救い主についての証をさらに多く見つけることができるでしょう。ニーファイが警告したように、多くの重要で分かりやすい聖句が預言者の書物から取り除かれています。

These are just a few of the many scriptures from the Old Testament that teach us about Jesus Christ.  If we had the true, original writings of the Old Testament prophets, we would find many more testimonies of our Savior.  As Nephi warned, many important and easy to understand scriptures have been taken away from the writings of the prophets.

私たちは今でもその旧約聖書を持っています。それを通して、福音が「昨日、今日、そして永遠に」同じであることを学びました。私たちは、旧約聖書の時代に生きた人々がイエス・キリストについて教えたことを学びました。今日、ラッセル・M・ネルソン大管長が福音を教えているように、旧約聖書の預言者たちも人々にイエス・キリストの福音を教えたことを学びました。

However, as we have studied the Old Testament writings that we still have, we have learned that the gospel is the same “yesterday, today, and forever”.  We have learned that the people who lived in Old Testament times were taught about Jesus Christ.  We have learned that the prophets of the Old Testament taught the gospel of Jesus Christ to their people, just as President Russell M. Nelson teaches the gospel to us, today.

新しい週が始まります。旧約聖書で読んだ多くの力強い証に感謝の気持ちを忘れずに過ごしましょう。旧約聖書の預言者の多くが福音を教えるために犠牲と試練を経験したことを考えてみましょう。福音は永遠で不変であることを覚えていましょう。旧約聖書の預言者のメッセージを熟考し、研究し、復習することを忘れないようにしましょう。

As we go through this next week, let’s be grateful for the many powerful testimonies that we have read in the Old Testament.  Let’s remember the sacrifices and trials suffered by many of the Old Testament prophets in their efforts to teach the gospel.  Let’s remember that the gospel is eternal and unchanging.  Let’s remember to ponder, study, and review the messages of the Old Testament prophets.
