And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost.  And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things.  Moroni 10:4-5

As we come to the end of the Book of Mormon, this is a good time to look back over what we have read and what we have learned during the past year.

As he ends his record, Moroni gives us the great promise of the Book of Mormon.  He tells us that we can learn the truth of all these things if we follow a few simple steps.  We need to study the Book of Mormon.  We need to want to know if it is true.  We need to pray with a sincere heart.  If we do these things, Moroni tells us, the Holy Ghost will tell us that the book is true.

I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God.  It is a record preserved to come forth in our time.  It was written for our benefit.  It is another witness of Jesus Christ, that he is the Savior of the world.  It is the keystone of our religion and the foundation of the Restoration.

モルモン書が神のみ言葉であることを私は知っています。それは私たちの時代に出てくるために保存された記録であり、私たちの益のために書かれました。それはイエス・キリストがこの世の救い主であることのもう一つの証です。それは私たちの宗教のかなめ石であり、回復の基なのです。

I know these things are true.

We have a duty to study the Book of Mormon every day and to live by the things it teaches us.
