さて、モーサヤが父から命じられたとおりに行い、全地に布告を出したところ、民は全地から集まり、ベニヤミン王の語る言葉を聞くために神殿にやって来た。モーサヤ書２：１
And it came to pass that after Mosiah had done as his father had commanded him, and had made a proclamation throughout all the land, that the people gathered themselves together throughout all the land, that they might go up to the temple to hear the words which king Benjamin should speak unto them. Mosiah 2:1
General Conference will be next weekend. With the wonderful technology that we have today, we are able to listen to all the Conference messages. Unlike the people in the days of king Benjamin, we do not need to travel long distances to hear the words of our Prophets, Apostles, and leaders.
来週末は総大会です。今日の優れた技術のおかげで、すべての総大会メッセージを聴くことができます。ベニヤミン王の時代の民とは違い、私たちは預言者の言葉を聴くために遠い道のりを旅する必要がありません。
We can choose the language that we feel most comfortable with. Log on to the Church web site at lds.org. Click on “Watch General Conference”, then choose the language you want to use. If you want to listen in English, you can. If you want to listen in Japanese, you can.
そして私たちは最も慣れ親しんだ言語を選んで聴くことができます。教会のウェブサイト「LDS.ORG」にログインし、「総大会を観る」をクリックした後、好きな言語を選択してください。英語でも日本語でも聴くことが出来ます。
We believe that each person who gives a talk will be inspired by the Holy Ghost. We believe that these messages are revelation from the Lord for us, today.
私たちは話者が聖霊に導かれて語ることを信じています。語られるメッセージは今日の私たちのために主から与えられる啓示だと信じています。
But, like everything else in the gospel, obtaining the blessings from General Conference requires action on our part.
しかし福音のほかの原則と同じように、総大会から祝福を得るには私たちがすべきことをしなければなりません。
Just like the people of king Benjamin, when the Prophets and Apostles leave their work to present inspired messages to us, we need to leave our work and listen to those messages.
ベニヤミン王の民のように預言者や使徒が私たちに霊感あふれるメッセージを伝えるために彼らが仕事を離れるように、私たちもそれらのメッセージを聴くために仕事を離れる必要があります。
For some of us, due to work requirements or time zone problems, it is not always possible to listen to the messages of Conference as they are happening.

If we are not able to hear the messages as they are given, we have the responsibility to use the technology that the Lord has provided for us.

We can use the Internet at lds.org to listen to all the Conference messages at any time. We can listen to the messages, we can watch the videos, and we can print the messages. If we do not have access to the Internet, we can read all the messages in the Ensign or Liahona.

Just as it is the duty of the Prophets and Apostles to leave their work and to teach us, it is our duty to leave our work and to study the messages they give us.
預言者や使徒が仕事を離れ私たちを教えることが務めであるように、仕事を離れ与えられるメッセージを学ぶことは私たちの義務、務めなのです。
I know that these messages from the Prophets and Apostles are inspired messages. They are revelation to us. They will teach us what we need to know.
これら預言者や使徒からのメッセージは霊感を受けて与えられるメッセージです。それらは私たちに与えられる啓示です。彼らは私たちが今知るべき事柄を教えてくれます。
May we do our part to receive the blessings that will come from General Conference. May we study the inspired messages that we are given. May we learn the things that we need to learn.
総大会を通して祝福を受けれる様、私たちがなすべき事を行なえますように。私たちに伝えられた霊感あふれるメッセージを学べますように。私たちが今必要なことを学べますように。
