そして、彼らがこれらの言葉を語り終えると、主の御霊が彼らに降られた。そして彼らは、罪の赦しを受け、良心の安らぎを得たので、喜びに満たされた。それは、彼らがベニヤミン王の語った言葉のとおりに、将来来られるイエス・キリストを深く信じたためである。モーサヤ書４：３
And it came to pass that after they had spoken these words the Spirit of the Lord came upon them, and they were filled with joy, having received a remission of their sins, and having peace of conscience, because of the exceeding faith which they had in Jesus Christ who should come, according to the words which king Benjamin had spoken unto them. Mosiah 4:3
King Benjamin’s teaching to his people is recorded in the first few chapters of Mosiah. At the end of his teaching, the people were convinced of the truth of the gospel. They all repented of their sins and prayed for forgiveness.
モーサヤ書の最初の数章にはベニヤミン王の民への教えが記録されています。彼が教えを終えた時人々は福音の真理に改宗しました。彼らは全員罪を悔い改め、赦しを請い、お祈りしました。
This short scripture records the things that happened to them when they repented.
この短い聖句は彼らが悔い改めた時、彼らに起こったことを記録されています。
– The Spirit of the Lord came upon them.
– 主の御霊が彼らに降られた。
– They received a remission of their sins.
– 彼らは罪の許しを受けた。
– They were filled with joy.
– 彼らは喜びに満ちた。
– They had peace of conscience.
– 彼らは良心の安らぎを得た。
These are all great blessings. These are all blessings that we want. These are all blessings that anyone can receive.
それらはすべて素晴らしい祝福です。どれも私たちが望む祝福です。そしてそれは誰でも受けることのできる祝福です。
Do you want to be filled with joy? Do you want to have the Spirit of the Lord? Do you want to have peace of conscience?
あなたは喜びに満たされたいと思いませんか？主の御霊を欲しくありませんか？良心の安らぎを欲しくありませんか？
Peace of conscience. What a great blessing! People all over the world are seeking for peace of conscience but do not know how to receive it.
良心の安らぎ。何と素晴らしい祝福なんでしょう！世界中の人々は良心の安らぎを探し求めていますがどうしたらそれが得られるのかわかりません。
King Benjamin explains very clearly how we can receive peace of conscience.
ベニヤミン王はどうしたら良心の安らぎを受けれるのかとても明瞭に説明しています。
The key to receiving peace of conscience is having faith in our Savior Jesus Christ.
良心の安らぎを得る鍵は救い主イエス・キリストに信仰を持つことです。
The people of king Benjamin received peace of conscience “because of the exceeding faith which they had in Jesus Christ”.
ベニヤミン王の民は「彼らがイエス・キリストを深く信じたため」良心の安らぎを得たのです。
If we want peace of conscience, we must do the same thing. We must have faith in Jesus Christ. If we have faith in Jesus Christ, we will want to repent of our sins.
私たちも良心の安らぎを欲しければ同じ様にしなければなりません。イエス・キリストに信仰を持たねばなりません。私たちがイエス・キリストに信仰を持っていれば自分の罪を悔い改めたいと思うでしょう。
If we have faith in Jesus Christ and repent of our sins, we too can receive peace of conscience. We too can be filled with joy. We too can have the Spirit of the Lord.
イエス・キリストに信仰を持ち、罪を悔い改めるなら私たちも同じように良心の安らぎを受けることが出来ます。同じように私たちも喜びに満たされ、主の御霊を受けることが出来ます。
I know that peace of conscience comes only by faith in Jesus Christ, by repenting of our sins, and by doing our best to keep all the commandments. Peace of conscience is a great blessing that is available to anyone who follows the steps that king Benjamin taught his people.
良心の安らぎはイエス・キリストへの信仰と罪の悔い改め、すべての戒めを守ろうと最善を尽くことでやってくることを私は知っています。良心の安らぎはベニヤミン王が民に教えたステップに従う誰もが自由に得られる素晴らしい祝福なのです。
Let’s seek for peace of conscience this week. Let’s change anything in our lives that prevents us from having peace of conscience. Let’s have greater faith in Jesus Christ. Let’s repent of our sins and do whatever is necessary to receive peace of conscience.
良心の安らぎを求めて今週も過ごしましょう。良心の安らぎを受ける妨げになることが自分の生活の中にあればそれを変えてみましょう。イエス・キリストへの更に強い信仰を持ちましょう。罪を悔い改め、良心の安らぎが得られることは何でもやってみましょう。
